Energy and Vitality – starts with NAD+
While most people have never heard of NAD+, this treatment is starting to make waves as popularity increases and more people enjoy the many benefits it offers.
For those of us who struggle with brain fog, fatigue, low motivation, and/or are asking our bodies to go above and beyond, NAD+ treatments can be helpful.
What is NAD+?
NAD+ is central to all metabolism and found in all living cells, including your own. NAD+ stands for Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide. It is an essential factor in gene expression, energy production, DNA repair, formation of hormones, cell communication, and immune function.
Why use NAD+?
When we enrich our cells with NAD+ we can reduce cellular damage, keeping our cells healthier for longer. Lower levels of NAD+ in our bodies result in less energy creation, showing up as daily fatigue and poor resilience. As we age, the normal decline of NAD+ may increase our risk for age related diseases such as cognitive issues as well as heart disease.

How can I enhance my NAD?
- Make it. NAD+ isn’t truly a nutrient, it is something that we make in our own cells, every day. Exercising, fasting, and sauna use offer many health benefits including increasing our own production of NAD+.
- Take it. There are several different NAD+ supplements on the market now, mostly in the form of NR (Nicotinamide Riboside is a precursor to NAD+). While these are helpful for some people, others do not report the same improvements in quality-of-life benefits that there is from the injection form of NAD+.
- Inject it. At the IV this is our preferred way to provide NAD+. We find both low doses (50mg) and high doses (250mg and up) helpful for many people, depending on their health goals.
